Private Jet Castries to Tempe

George F. L. Charles Airport serves Castries, the capital of St Lucia, an island defined by the twin volcanic spires of the Pitons rising from the Caribbean Sea and by the bubbling Sulphur Springs said to be the world’s only drive-in volcano. The sector onward to Tempe covers approximately 3,007 nautical miles, a distance well matched to a super mid-size jet such as the Gulfstream G280 or Citation Longitude, cruising near 45,000 feet for a flight that typically runs just over five hours. The route crosses the Gulf of Mexico before descending into the Arizona desert, trading St Lucia’s volcanic rainforest interior for Tempe’s dry desert heat and the university energy surrounding Arizona State University. Leisure travellers extending a St Lucia honeymoon or resort stay make up much of the demand on this pairing, alongside a smaller number of cruise and tourism industry executives. A direct charter avoids the San Juan or Miami connection that a commercial itinerary between Castries and Phoenix would typically require, consolidating what might otherwise be most of a day’s travel into a single continuous sector. A super mid-size cabin’s genuine stand-up height and proper galley suit a flight just over five hours particularly well. Arrival in Tempe often leads directly on to a round of golf at one of Scottsdale’s resort courses, trading the Pitons’ dramatic silhouette for Camelback Mountain’s rather different desert profile. A hike through the rainforest canopy or a mud bath at the Sulphur Springs is a popular way for travellers to round out their stay before the aircraft departs for Arizona.
