Private Jet Cavallo to Augusta

Cavallo, the small Mediterranean island off Corsica’s southern tip best known for its exclusive helistrip, sends private travellers on a genuine ultra-long-range journey to Augusta, roughly 4,180 nautical miles that only a Gulfstream G650ER or Bombardier Global 7500 can realistically cover with the range margin such a crossing demands. Cruise altitudes approaching 45,000 feet keep the aircraft clear of the busiest transatlantic traffic for most of the flight, which typically runs close to eight hours. Augusta greets arriving passengers into a world entirely apart from the Mediterranean’s yacht anchorages: Augusta National Golf Club hosts the Masters Tournament each spring, drawing some of the heaviest private aviation traffic in the country for the week, while Fort Eisenhower’s Army Cyber Command mission and Augusta University’s medical school sustain a steadier flow of business travel through the balance of the year. Owners with a Mediterranean summer base and business or golfing interests in the American Southeast are the primary travellers on this route, and the ultra-long-range cabin’s full sleeping arrangements and proper galley service turn what would otherwise be an arduous multi-stop commercial itinerary into a single restful overnight crossing. A late-day departure from Cavallo typically allows arrival in Georgia during local morning hours, minimising the disruption such a long eastbound or westbound journey usually brings to a tightly scheduled trip. Catering and cabin crew arrangements are typically finalised well ahead of departure for a sector of this length, allowing a full dinner service shortly after leaving Mediterranean airspace and a light breakfast as the aircraft begins its descent into Georgia.
