Private Jet Cavallo to Gilbert

Few sectors in the network cover as much ground as the crossing from Cavallo to Gilbert, a transatlantic haul of roughly 5,275 nautical miles that calls for an ultra-long-range jet such as the Gulfstream G650ER or Bombardier Global 7500. Both aircraft can fly the distance nonstop, cruising near 51,000 feet at speeds approaching Mach 0.90 and offering fully flat berths and enclosed private suites so passengers arrive rested after what is typically a ten-hour flight. Departures use the helistrip on Cavallo, the private island off Corsica’s southern coast long favoured by yacht owners cruising the Bonifacio Strait between France and Sardinia, meaning most journeys begin with a short tender or helicopter transfer before the jet itself is boarded from a nearby Corsican or Sardinian airfield, with the turquoise waters of the Lavezzi archipelago visible below on departure. Gilbert could hardly present a greater contrast on landing: a landlocked East Valley town built on rapid, planned suburban growth rather than Mediterranean leisure. The Heritage District’s restaurants and breweries occupy the restored core of what was once a hay-shipping settlement, while the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch offers a surprisingly verdant wetland walk carved from reclaimed desert. SanTan Village provides shopping and dining for longer stays, and the Superstition Mountains lend a dramatic backdrop for anyone continuing on to a resort or golf outing. This route typically serves owners with both a Mediterranean summer base and an Arizona winter property, or business principals whose interests span Europe and the American Southwest, for whom a single nonstop flight replaces what would otherwise be a gruelling multi-stop itinerary through several major hubs, sparing them the fatigue of a connection through a congested European or East Coast gateway.
