Private Jet Cavallo to Toledo

The crossing from Cavallo to Toledo runs to approximately 3,946 nautical miles, a substantial transatlantic and transcontinental sector best flown by a heavy business jet such as the Gulfstream G550, cruising near 45,000 feet on a routing that clears the North Atlantic before continuing on toward the Great Lakes. Departure is from Cavallo Helistrip, serving the small island of Cavallo off the northern tip of Corsica, a discreet, low-key strip favoured by the yacht-owning clientele who gather in these waters each summer, with helicopter or short-hop connection typically arranged to a nearby jet-capable field for the onward leg. Toledo Express Airport receives the flight on arrival, a considerable change of pace from the Mediterranean, close to a city that has long defined itself through glass manufacturing and is celebrated today at the Toledo Museum of Art, whose glass collection and contemporary pavilion are among the finest anywhere in the Midwest. Given the length of the crossing, a cabin fitted with lie-flat seating and a full galley allows for genuine rest across the many hours involved. This route typically suits yacht owners and Mediterranean-based principals with manufacturing or family interests in the American Midwest, for whom a dedicated long-range charter out of Cavallo, unusual as the pairing is, removes any need to route through Nice, Paris or a major US hub before continuing on to northwest Ohio. Flight time on this sector runs to approximately 7h30, and The Jet Collection can also arrange ground transportation on both ends to streamline the transition from tarmac to final destination.
