Private Jet Charlestown to Port St. Lucie

Charlestown, the capital of the Caribbean island of Nevis, sits 1,164 nautical miles from Port St. Lucie, a sector well matched to a light or mid-size jet. A Citation CJ4 or Challenger 350 covers the crossing in around two and a quarter hours, cruising above the weather for a smooth ride over the Bahamas and the Straits of Florida. Flights depart Vance W. Amory International Airport, a compact strip serving Nevis’s volcanic peak, its historic sugar plantations turned boutique hotels, and the narrow channel separating it from sister island St. Kitts. Arrival at Treasure Coast International Airport brings travellers into Port St. Lucie, where the PGA Village golf complex, the Indian River Lagoon and the St. Lucie River offer a very different landscape from Nevis’s rainforest interior and black-sand beaches. Clover Park, home to New York Mets spring training, adds a seasonal draw each March, and Fort Pierce and Jensen Beach provide further Atlantic coastline nearby. This route particularly suits Caribbean property owners and yacht crews repositioning between Nevis’s marina at Oualie Bay and Florida’s east coast marinas, as well as travellers combining an island retreat with mainland business or medical appointments at the Cleveland Clinic’s Tradition campus. The relatively short flight time makes a same-day round trip realistic for those needing to be back on Nevis by evening, a flexibility scheduled carriers, which typically route through San Juan or Miami with lengthy layovers, cannot offer. For charter operators, the modest runway length at Vance W. Amory also makes aircraft selection an important early step in planning this itinerary.
