Private Jet Corsica to Tempe

Corsica and Tempe sit 5,240 nautical miles apart, a distance that requires an aircraft with genuine intercontinental range. A Bombardier Global 7500 covers the crossing in around nine and three-quarter hours, cruising at altitudes up to 51,000 feet with a cabin that divides into four distinct living areas, including a dedicated crew rest suite for a sector of this length. Departures run from Calvi-Sainte-Catherine Airport, the gateway to Corsica’s northwest coast, with private aviation facilities well used to handling the island’s seasonal superyacht and resort traffic. The Global 7500’s dedicated crew rest suite allows a double crew to manage duty-time limits comfortably across the nine-and-three-quarter-hour crossing. Landing into Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, passengers arrive in Tempe, a city built around Arizona State University and the waterside restaurants of Tempe Town Lake. Corsica’s rugged coastline and mountainous interior give way, on arrival, to the flat desert plains of the Phoenix valley, where the saguaro cactus replaces the maquis scrubland as the defining plant life. A handful of French hospitality groups with properties on the island have also begun studying Scottsdale’s resort market, while most passengers on this route are simply extending a Mediterranean summer with a very different kind of desert warmth, golf courses that stay open year-round, and more than three hundred days of sunshine annually. A handful of Corsican hoteliers have also begun benchmarking against Scottsdale’s resort pricing, while most charters on this route depart the island in the late morning, allowing arrival in Phoenix well before the Arizona evening. Round-trip charters of this length are typically crewed in shifts to keep both pilots within regulatory duty limits.
