Private Jet Davos to Tempe

Davos and Tempe are separated by 5,058 nautical miles, a distance that calls for a heavy jet operating at the edge of its comfortable range. A Gulfstream G650ER covers the crossing in around nine and a half hours, cruising at altitudes up to 51,000 feet with a cabin configured for up to fourteen passengers and a private aft suite for the longer sectors of this network. Charter departures typically route through Zurich Kloten Airport, the nearest major gateway to Davos, with a scenic road or helicopter transfer completing the journey to the resort itself. The aircraft’s four-zone cabin allows a delegation to meet in one section while others rest in the private suite further aft, a useful feature given the forum’s famously packed schedules. Arrival at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport brings travellers to Tempe’s desert plains, a landscape entirely unlike the high alpine valley surrounding Davos. Arizona State University’s campus and the waterside restaurants of Tempe Town Lake anchor the city’s character, while the nearby Desert Botanical Garden offers a very different kind of mountain scenery in miniature, built around desert rather than alpine plants. Davos’s annual economic forum draws a global business audience each January, and a number of attendees have begun extending their trip west to assess opportunities in Arizona’s growing technology and real estate markets, while others simply swap Switzerland’s deep snow for Arizona’s golf courses and near-constant winter sunshine. A handful of Davos-based private banks have also opened small advisory teams covering Arizona’s growing population of ultra-high-net-worth residents, treating this corridor as a routine part of serving transatlantic clients.
