Private Jet Eleuthera to Cavallo

Eleuthera to Cavallo covers around 4,241 nautical miles, a sector well handled by a heavy business jet such as the Gulfstream G550 or Bombardier Global 6000, both offering the fuel reserves for a non-stop transatlantic crossing while cruising near 45,000 feet for much of the flight. North Eleuthera Airport is the point of departure, with the routing tracking broadly north-east across the Atlantic before descending towards Corsica’s southern coast. Cavallo, the destination, sits within the Lavezzi archipelago, separated from Sardinia by the narrow, current-swept Bonifacio Strait, and lacking any airstrip of its own, the final leg is completed by helicopter from Figari-Sud Corse to the island’s private helistrip. Eleuthera’s famous pink-sand beaches and Cavallo’s own granite coves make for an interesting study in contrasts, one island built from coral and shell fragments, the other from ancient granite worn smooth by wind and sea, yet both sharing the same fundamental appeal of clear, uncrowded water. For those departing Eleuthera, the roughly seven-hour flight is a considerable but comfortable transatlantic journey, and the heavy jet’s cabin, with proper rest facilities, keeps the crossing productive rather than tiring, delivering passengers to one of the Mediterranean’s most private islands ready to make the most of their stay there. Repeat visitors sometimes extend a Cavallo stay with a short hop to the Sardinian coast, treating the two islands as complementary parts of the same broader Mediterranean escape rather than a single fixed destination. The pink hue that gives Eleuthera’s beaches their name has, curiously, a rough visual echo in the sunset light on Cavallo’s own granite, a coincidence regular visitors to both islands are quick to point out.
