Private Jet Exeter to St. Petersburg

The Exeter to St Petersburg sector spans approximately 3,737 nautical miles, a transatlantic distance suited to an ultra-long-range aircraft such as the Gulfstream G550, which comfortably bridges the Atlantic on a flight of around seven hours. Exeter serves as the principal gateway to Devon and the wider West Country, a region prized for its rolling countryside, its dramatic Jurassic Coast and a slower pace of life than England’s larger cities, and private aviation here caters largely to owners of second homes and estates scattered across the region. Once climbed to a cruise altitude in the mid-to-high 40,000s, the flight tracks out over the North Atlantic before descending into the American Southeast, a routing that generally benefits from favourable tailwinds on the return leg east. The West Country’s appeal rests on precisely the qualities that make it feel a world away from a major city, from its coastal footpaths to its cider orchards and traditional market towns, and travellers on this route are typically drawn by that contrast with Florida’s warmer, more urban Gulf coast. Arrival into St Pete-Clearwater International Airport offers a calm, uncomplicated end to such a long journey, close to St Petersburg’s museums, its waterfront dining and the beaches of Pinellas County. This route suits owners with a Devon or West Country property and a Florida base, for whom the nonstop link removes the inconvenience of routing through London or a connecting East Coast hub for a journey of this length. Traditional market towns such as Totnes and Dartmouth, along with the region’s sailing culture around Salcombe, add further texture to a part of England that has long attracted a quieter, more understated style of second-home ownership.
