Private Jet Exumas to Fontana

Exumas to Fontana runs to approximately 2,259 nautical miles, a sector well matched to a Mid-Size Jet such as the Bombardier Challenger 350 or Gulfstream G280. Cruising at altitudes up to roughly 45,000 feet, both types complete the crossing in around four and a half hours, offering a stand-up cabin and proper galley that make the flight noticeably more comfortable than a smaller jet could manage over this distance. Departures use Exuma Airport, gateway to a chain of islands renowned for their swimming pigs, sandbars and some of the clearest water in the Caribbean, and a hub that has seen growing private aviation demand as the destination’s profile has risen. On arrival, passengers reach Fontana, a city in California’s Inland Empire whose economy centres on logistics, distribution and motorsport, with the Auto Club Speedway drawing large crowds each NASCAR season and the San Bernardino Mountains forming a scenic backdrop to the valley. The Exumas’ shallow turquoise banks give way, four and a half hours later, to the sun-baked freight corridors of the Inland Empire, a considerable contrast in scenery and purpose alike. A Mid-Size Jet of this class typically seats eight to ten passengers with an enclosed lavatory and full galley service, comfortable for a working flight of this duration. This route is used almost entirely by private travellers concluding an Exumas holiday, valuing the direct, flexible link back to Southern California over the limited scheduled connections available from such a remote island chain. Given how quickly the Exumas’ small resorts book out in peak season, many travellers value being able to fix an exact arrival and departure time around their reservation rather than working backwards from a limited scheduled flight timetable.
