Private Jet Exumas to Mesa

Exumas to Mesa covers roughly 1,970 nautical miles, a distance well suited to a mid-size or super-mid-size jet such as the Gulfstream G280, cruising near 41,000 feet across the Gulf of Mexico and northern Mexico before reaching the desert Southwest. Exuma Airport, on Great Exuma, serves an archipelago of more than 365 cays famous for the swimming pigs of Big Major Cay and some of the clearest water anywhere in the Caribbean basin. Arrival follows into Mesa Gateway Airport, an efficient East Valley reliever field serving greater Phoenix. The Exumas have become one of the most photographed corners of the Bahamas in recent years, their impossibly turquoise shallows and scattered cays drawing yacht charters and increasingly high-end resort development alike. Mesa presents a completely different desert landscape on arrival, framed by the Superstition Mountains and increasingly shaped by aerospace manufacturing and technology. Across a flight of roughly four hours, a well-configured cabin provides genuine comfort for the journey. Yacht charter operators, resort developers capitalising on the islands’ rising profile, and private travellers seeking the Exumas’ distinctive turquoise waters before continuing on to the desert Southwest are typical of those who choose this efficient, direct route. Weekday departures generally offer the smoothest scheduling. Onward boat transfers connect Exuma Airport efficiently to the many cays scattered across the surrounding archipelago. Weekday departures generally offer smoother scheduling on this route. This adds a modest margin of reliability to any scheduling plan for this route. Slot availability is rarely a constraint on this comparatively quiet route, offering welcome scheduling flexibility.
