Private Jet Florence to Oxnard

Florence and Oxnard lie approximately 5,407 nautical miles apart, a sector an ultra-long-range jet such as the Gulfstream G650ER or Bombardier Global 7500 flies nonstop from Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport in around ten and a quarter hours, cruising at altitudes up to 51,000 feet for much of the crossing, well above the North Atlantic weather systems that affect airline traffic flying lower. Arrival in Oxnard brings a sharp change of scenery from Florence’s Renaissance palazzos and hilltop vineyards: a working Ventura County coastal city whose harbour, Channel Islands Harbor, is the main launch point for boat trips into Channel Islands National Park. The surrounding Oxnard Plain remains one of California’s most productive farming regions, strawberries and lemons grown close to the shoreline, and the city’s beaches offer a quieter, more local alternative to the crowds found at Los Angeles’s better-known stretches of sand. Santa Barbara’s wine country, with its own Mediterranean climate and Spanish colonial architecture, lies within an hour’s drive for those wanting an echo of Tuscany on the Pacific side. Florentine and broader Tuscan business travellers connected to fashion, leather goods and finance often use this route to reach Southern California directly, as do Americans returning from an Italian holiday. Given the distance and the considerable time difference, most operators recommend a day of rest on arrival before any meetings or sightseeing begin in earnest along the Central Coast. Many travellers on this route treat the long flight as the closing chapter of a Tuscan holiday rather than a standalone business trip, which tends to make the extra rest easier to justify on arrival. A short drive from the terminal brings travellers to the harbour or the beach beyond.
