Private Jet Geneva to Capri

The 495 nautical mile route between Geneva and Capri suits a Phenom 100 well, its light-jet cruise performance efficient for a sector of this length departing Geneva Airport. Once airborne, the aircraft climbs south over the Alps before descending toward the Bay of Naples, typically cruising in the high 30,000s where the ride stays smooth and well clear of most alpine weather along the way. Arrival into Capri Heliport, set on the narrow strip of land between Capri town and Anacapri, brings guests within easy reach of the island’s centre. The Faraglioni sea stacks anchor views from the Gardens of Augustus, while the funicular connecting the town with Marina Grande descends through terraced lemon groves that perfume the air throughout the summer. The Piazzetta remains the natural first stop for an evening drink, its café tables offering a ringside view of Capri’s long-running promenade. Geneva’s international and diplomatic community has long used the city as a base for summer escapes of exactly this kind, and a direct charter avoids the connection through Rome or Naples that scheduled travel would otherwise involve, a saving that matters most on shorter breaks where every extra hour of transit reduces time spent on the island itself. The Phenom 100’s compact footprint also means it can operate from smaller regional airfields near Geneva without difficulty, adding departure flexibility that a larger aircraft on this route would not provide. Guests extending their stay often make time for Anacapri, reached by a short chairlift, where the pace slows considerably compared with the busier lanes nearer the Piazzetta and Marina Grande.
