Private Jet Gstaad to Antalya

Gstaad to Antalya covers approximately 1,199 nautical miles, joining the discreet alpine resort of the Bernese Oberland with the sunlit Mediterranean coast of southern Turkey. The short mountain strip at Gstaad Airport Saanenland favours nimble aircraft, and a turboprop such as the Pilatus PC-12 or a light jet such as the Phenom 300 is ideally matched to both the field and the distance; each combines short-field performance with the range to reach the Turkish coast. A turboprop cruises comfortably in the mid-twenties of thousands of feet while a light jet climbs towards 45,000 feet, rising above much of the weather for a smooth passage. Departures are handled from Gstaad Airport Saanenland, set among the peaks of the Saanenland, where private handling makes for a swift and discreet start to the journey. Antalya, the gateway to Turkey’s Turquoise Coast, offers a warm contrast to the alpine meadows of Gstaad. The city gathers around a Roman-era harbour, and its old quarter of Kaleici preserves Hadrian’s Gate, timber Ottoman houses and steep lanes descending to the sea, all framed by the Taurus Mountains beyond. Nearby lie the ruins of Perge and the great theatre of Aspendos, while the Antalya Museum holds one of the country’s finest collections of Roman sculpture. The beaches of Konyaalti and Lara flank the city, and the resort towns of Kalkan and Kas lie further along the shore. This route suits alpine travellers exchanging the mountains for the coast, couples and families bound for a summer by the sea, and small parties who value the speed and privacy of a direct flight. For those wishing to trade the Bernese Oberland for the harbours of the Turquoise Coast, the charter is the natural choice.
