Private Jet Houston to Capri

Houston lies approximately 5,060 nautical miles from Capri, a sector that calls for a Gulfstream G650ER or Global 6000, both able to cruise near 45,000 to 51,000 feet across a flight of roughly nine and three-quarter hours. George Bush Intercontinental Airport serves one of the country’s largest energy and aerospace hubs, a city whose scale and industry stand in sharp contrast to the compact, car-free lanes awaiting arrival on the other side of the Atlantic. Passengers land by helicopter into Capri Heliport, directly above the town, and are within a short walk of the Certosa di San Giacomo and the Augustus Gardens, whose terraces look straight down onto the Faraglioni stacks and the Via Krupp footpath cut into the cliffside. Evenings gravitate naturally toward the Piazzetta, where residents, yacht crews and visitors gather at café tables in a ritual that has held its character for generations. A boat trip to the Blue Grotto, where sunlight through a low underwater opening produces an intense blue glow inside the cavern, remains a near-essential outing, best scheduled for the stiller waters of morning. Anacapri, reached via the Monte Solaro chairlift, offers a quieter, higher vantage point with sweeping views across the Bay of Naples toward Vesuvius. Given the length of this transatlantic crossing, cabin rest is a genuine factor, and both recommended aircraft offer flat-bed seating designed for it. This route suits Houston-based travellers seeking a direct, single-sector link into the heart of the Mediterranean summer season, bypassing the usual connections through a European gateway city entirely. Many combine the visit with a wider Amalfi Coast itinerary, using Capri as a first stop before continuing on by boat to Positano or Sorrento, both a short crossing away across the bay.
