Private Jet Lake Como to Oxnard

The 5,249 nautical mile route from Lake Como to Oxnard calls for an Ultra-Long Range Jet, with a Gulfstream G650ER or Global 7500 covering the crossing in a single sector at altitudes near 45,000 feet, avoiding the technical stop a shorter-range aircraft would require. Milan Malpensa Airport, the gateway to Lombardy and the lakeside villas of Como, sees the aircraft depart northern Italy before a long transatlantic track across the ocean and the American continent toward the Southern California coast. Lake Como’s belle epoque villas, its terraced gardens and the dramatic backdrop of the pre-Alps have made it one of Europe’s most enduring luxury retreats, and this route serves owners and guests moving between a lakeside property and a base on California’s Central Coast. Arrival at Oxnard offers a calm, efficient alternative to Los Angeles International, with Santa Barbara’s coastal towns and Malibu both a short drive away. The ultra-long-range cabin suits the roughly ten-hour duration comfortably, with proper sleeping configurations, a full galley and enough cabin space for passengers to move about during the long Atlantic crossing. This sector suits travellers who prize a single uninterrupted flight over the multiple connections a commercial itinerary through Milan or a major northern European hub would otherwise require. Como’s proximity to Milan gives this route excellent ground handling support despite the lake’s own relatively limited infrastructure, and operators typically coordinate a short transfer to Malpensa to begin the long transatlantic sector without adding meaningful delay to the overall journey. Guests heading this way often combine the trip with a stay elsewhere in Lombardy or the nearby lakes before departure, treating Oxnard as the gateway to a longer stretch of the Central Coast once the Atlantic crossing is complete.
