Private Jet Mahé to Anaheim

Mahé to Anaheim is another of the desk’s genuinely extreme long-haul sectors, spanning approximately 9,020 nautical miles and requiring an Executive Airliner with at least one, and more likely two, technical stops given the distance and the limited range of even the longest-legged purpose-built business jets. Departing Seychelles International Airport, the flight typically stages through the Middle East or Europe before crossing the Atlantic and the American continent toward Southern California, cruising at altitudes up to 41,000 feet for the majority of each leg. The Seychelles’ tourism and offshore finance sectors generate a modest but genuine flow of private travel, much of it involving high-net-worth families splitting time between an Indian Ocean retreat and a Californian base, and a direct private routing, however long, remains considerably more practical than attempting to piece together a commercial itinerary that would likely involve three or more connections. The widebody cabin typical of this aircraft class, complete with private suites, a full galley and dedicated crew rest areas, is essential for a journey that will realistically take the better part of two days including stops. Arrival into John Wayne Airport brings travellers into the heart of Orange County, close to Anaheim’s resort district and its cluster of theme parks and convention facilities, a striking contrast to the tranquillity of Mahé’s granite-strewn beaches. This route suits family offices and travellers for whom privacy and comfort across an extraordinarily long journey are simply non-negotiable. Operators generally recommend a full rest day be built into any itinerary either side of this crossing, given the substantial time-zone shift as much as the flight time itself, so a bespoke journey of this scale is planned well in advance rather than at short notice.
