Private Jet Mahé to Palawan

Mahé, the main island of the Seychelles, sits approximately 3,884 nautical miles from Palawan, a sector that crosses the Indian Ocean and the length of maritime Southeast Asia to connect two of the world’s most celebrated island destinations. Flights depart Seychelles International Airport, and a distance of this length is comfortably within reach of a heavy business jet such as the Gulfstream G550 or Bombardier Global 6000, both able to fly the route nonstop while cruising at altitudes up to 45,000 feet for much of the journey. Puerto Princesa International Airport receives arriving flights, opening onto a province whose defining feature is the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River, an underground waterway that threads through limestone hills for several kilometres and carries both UNESCO World Heritage status and recognition as one of the New7Wonders of Nature. Beyond the capital, the karst lagoons of El Nido and the coral-fringed wrecks off Coron have given Palawan an outsized reputation among divers, while its interior retains rainforest cover rare elsewhere in the region. Guests travelling this route often note the pairing of two islands built on very different geology, granite peaks and coral atolls in the Seychelles giving way to limestone karst and rainforest in Palawan, though both share a reputation for protecting what remains one of the more intact marine environments in their respective oceans. This route suits divers extending an Indian Ocean itinerary into Southeast Asia, or those simply seeking a considered, private way to combine two of the world’s more celebrated island escapes. Given the absence of a convenient scheduled routing between the two island groups, most travellers on this pairing view the private jet not as a luxury but as the only practical way to make the crossing directly.
