Private Jet Mallorca to Paradise Valley

Mallorca to Paradise Valley runs close to 5,128 nautical miles, a distance for a heavy long-range aircraft such as the Gulfstream G650ER, which completes the roughly nine-hour-forty-five-minute crossing at a cruise altitude of up to 51,000 feet, well above the traffic and weather that can complicate Mediterranean departures during the busy summer season. Departing Palma de Mallorca Airport, one of the busiest fields in the Mediterranean during peak months, the aircraft’s range comfortably covers this sector without requiring a technical stop. Mallorca’s combination of dramatic coastline, historic old town and a thriving yachting scene draws travellers throughout the warmer months, many of whom maintain a second base in the American Southwest for the rest of the year. Landing at Scottsdale Airport delivers guests directly into Paradise Valley, where golf courses and resort spas set beneath Camelback Mountain offer a genuine change of pace from the island’s beach clubs and marinas. The route suits travellers closing out a Balearic summer with a direct flight home, as well as those who split their calendar deliberately between the Mediterranean and the desert Southwest. Given Palma’s heavy seasonal congestion, particularly through July and August, booking well ahead of a planned departure date is worth the extra effort for guests hoping to avoid slot delays during the island’s peak travel weeks. Guests transferring from a yacht anchored off Mallorca’s coast should plan extra time for the transfer to Palma’s airport during the height of summer traffic. On landing in Arizona, many extend their stay through a full week, combining golf and spa time with the recovery a long transatlantic sector calls for.
