Private Jet Mallorca to Spokane

The Mediterranean island of Mallorca sends travellers roughly 4,684 nautical miles to reach Spokane, a nine-hour sector that sits at the upper end of what a Gulfstream G550 can manage comfortably and well within the reach of a Global 6000 or G650, both carrying the range reserves needed for a great-circle track that runs north over the Atlantic before dropping into the Pacific Northwest. A cruise altitude in the mid-forties of thousands of feet keeps the ride settled for what is a genuinely long day’s travel in either direction. Palma de Mallorca Airport serves an island whose reputation for package tourism belies a interior of dramatic limestone peaks along the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage landscape, and a old town dominated by Palma Cathedral’s soaring Gothic nave overlooking the marina. The island’s yachting culture and quieter northern coves draw a different, more discreet visitor than the beach resorts further south. Spokane, by contrast, offers landlocked charm: the Spokane River and its falls run through the centre of downtown, Riverfront Park occupies the old 1974 World’s Fair site, and Gonzaga University gives the city a youthful, walkable core. The surrounding Selkirk Mountains and lakes of northern Idaho reward those staying longer, whether for summer boating or winter skiing. This route suits Mallorca-based owners and charterers with seasonal interests in the Pacific Northwest, and it works well as one leg of a longer circuit that also takes in the wider Balearics or mainland Spain. Owners based seasonally in the Balearics often find the shift from Mediterranean sailing to Pacific Northwest hiking and fishing a natural complement rather than a contrast, and the route is flown often enough in summer to be a familiar one for regular operators.
