Private Jet Milan to Almaty

Some 2,824 nautical miles separate Milan and Almaty, a sector of around five and a half hours that sits comfortably within the capability of a heavy business jet. The Gulfstream G550 and Bombardier Global 6000 both suit the route well, offering a stand-up cabin, a private lavatory and enough range to make the crossing without a technical stop, cruising at altitudes typically up to 45,000 feet. Flights depart Milan Malpensa Airport, serving Italy’s financial and fashion capital, home to the Milan Stock Exchange, the ateliers behind much of the world’s luxury fashion industry, and cultural landmarks including the Gothic Duomo and La Scala opera house. Almaty, the destination, has built a comparable if very different reputation as Central Asia’s leading financial centre, hosting much of Kazakhstan’s banking sector and stock exchange despite Astana’s status as the political capital since the late 1990s. The city’s business districts sit within view of the snow-capped Trans-Ili Alatau, giving Almaty a backdrop unlike almost any other financial hub in the region. The route naturally appeals to executives moving between Europe’s fashion and finance capital and Central Asia’s fastest-growing market, though leisure travellers will find plenty to occupy them too, from the alpine scenery around Big Almaty Lake to the city’s expanding restaurant and gallery scene. A heavy jet’s cabin gives ample room to prepare for meetings en route or simply to unwind after a busy stretch in Milan, arriving in Almaty with the flexibility that only a private charter, scheduled to each traveller’s own timetable, can offer.
