Private Jet Mykonos to Tempe

Mykonos and Tempe sit 5,935 nautical miles apart, a distance that calls for an aircraft with genuine intercontinental legs. A Bombardier Global 7500 covers the crossing in around eleven hours, cruising at altitudes up to 51,000 feet with a cabin that divides into four distinct living areas, including a dedicated crew rest suite for a flight of this length. Departures run from Mykonos International Airport, a compact field that handles some of the heaviest private aviation traffic in the Aegean during the summer season. The aircraft’s dedicated crew rest suite allows a double crew to manage duty-time limits comfortably on both the outbound and return legs. Landing into Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, passengers arrive in Tempe, a city built around Arizona State University and the waterside restaurants of Tempe Town Lake. Mykonos’s whitewashed villages and beach clubs give way to the Sonoran Desert’s open plains, with the red rock formations of Papago Park offering their own kind of dramatic scenery. A number of Mykonos hospitality operators have taken a close interest in Scottsdale’s resort pricing and seasonal booking patterns, drawing comparisons between two of the world’s most prominent warm-weather leisure destinations, while most passengers are simply extending a Greek island holiday with a very different kind of desert warmth and more than three hundred days of sunshine a year. A handful of Mykonos-based beach club operators have also studied Scottsdale’s nightlife and resort pricing closely, as some consider bringing a branded venue to the American Southwest within the next few years. Most charters depart Mykonos in the morning, landing in Arizona with much of the desert afternoon still ahead.
