Private Jet Nantucket to Tempe

Nantucket Memorial Airport serves an island thirty miles off the Massachusetts coast, its cobblestone streets and grey-shingled cottages a legacy of the whaling fortunes that once made Nantucket one of the wealthiest towns in America, a history now preserved throughout its historic district. The sector onward to Tempe covers approximately 2,033 nautical miles, a distance well suited to a mid-size jet such as the Challenger 350 or Citation Latitude, cruising near 45,000 feet for a flight that typically runs just under three and a half hours. The route crosses the central United States before descending into the Arizona desert, trading Nantucket’s foggy Atlantic shoreline for Tempe’s dry desert heat and the university energy surrounding Arizona State University. Seasonal residents and leisure travellers extending a New England summer with a stop in the desert Southwest make up much of the demand on this pairing. A direct charter avoids the connecting flight through Boston that a commercial itinerary between Nantucket and Phoenix would typically require, especially valuable given how constrained scheduled capacity to this island airport becomes each summer. A mid-size cabin’s genuine stand-up height and proper galley suit a flight just under three and a half hours particularly well. Arrival in Tempe often leads directly on to a round of golf at one of Scottsdale’s resort courses, a striking contrast to Nantucket’s foggy, grey-shingled lanes. A final walk along Main Street’s cobblestones or a sunset at Madaket Beach is a popular way for travellers to close out their stay before departure. Summer capacity constraints at the island’s single runway make early booking especially important for travellers hoping to depart on a specific date during peak season.
