Private Jet Naples to Port St. Lucie

At just 104 nautical miles, Naples to Port St Lucie is one of the shortest domestic sectors on the network, a crossing measured in minutes rather than hours by a turboprop such as the Pilatus PC-12 or a light jet like the Phenom 300. Given the brevity of the flight, this route is chosen almost entirely for the convenience of avoiding Florida’s often congested interstate corridors rather than for any particular aircraft capability, and cruise altitude barely reaches the mid-teens of thousands of feet before descent begins toward the Treasure Coast. Naples Airport serves one of Florida’s wealthiest Gulf Coast communities, with a strong base of private aviation traffic tied to the area’s golf resorts and waterfront real estate. Port St Lucie, on the Atlantic side, offers a similarly affluent but noticeably quieter alternative, centred on the St Lucie River and the Indian River Lagoon rather than the Gulf’s beaches. The PGA Village golf complex gives Naples-based golfers an easy reason to make the short crossing, while the Tradition district appeals to those weighing a permanent move to the east coast, and the Indian River Lagoon offers a very different kind of fishing to the Gulf waters Naples travellers know well. Seasonal residents splitting time between Florida’s two coasts, along with golfers and boaters making the short cross-state hop, are the principal users of this route. Driving between the two takes the better part of three hours; flying takes closer to twenty minutes, which for many Florida-based travellers settles the decision on its own.
