Private Jet Nice to Augusta

The French Riviera and the American South make for an unlikely but increasingly familiar pairing each spring, as guests who have spent the early part of the season along the Mediterranean coast turn their attention to golf’s most revered gathering in Georgia. Covering 4,032 nautical miles, the journey from Nice to Augusta sits at the longer end of The Jet Collection’s transatlantic portfolio, and is typically flown aboard a Gulfstream G550, an aircraft whose advanced cabin pressurisation technology keeps the cabin altitude notably lower than the aircraft’s actual cruising altitude, reducing fatigue on a crossing of this length and allowing passengers to arrive genuinely rested rather than simply having endured the distance. Departing from Nice Cote d’Azur Airport, travellers benefit from one of Europe’s best-connected private aviation hubs, with slot availability and ground handling built around exactly this kind of long-haul departure. The flight itself typically involves careful routing across the North Atlantic, where the G550’s range and reliability have made it a long-standing favourite for operators managing this corridor. On arrival, guests land at Augusta Regional Airport in time for a tournament week that reshapes the entire city, Augusta National’s azalea-lined fairways drawing visitors from every continent each April, even as the course itself remains invisible to all but a privileged few beyond its gates. This route suits Riviera-based collectors, hospitality groups and golf enthusiasts accustomed to moving seamlessly between Europe’s leisure season and America’s sporting calendar, those for whom the distinction between a Mediterranean spring and a Georgian one is simply a matter of which flight they take next. It remains one of the more demanding sectors The Jet Collection arranges, and one of the most rewarding.
