Private Jet Phuket to Antalya

Running to about 4,058 nautical miles, the route from Phuket to Antalya joins Thailand’s premier island resort with the Turkish Riviera, two of the world’s most celebrated coastlines. The distance is well within the nonstop reach of ultra-long-range and heavy jets such as the Gulfstream G650ER and Bombardier Global 6000, both of which cover the roughly eight-hour leg without a stop while offering the wide, quiet cabins that make the flight restful. Cruising in the high forties of thousands of feet, they route above tropical weather and busy airways with a smooth, direct profile. Flights depart from Phuket International Airport, the island’s gateway on the northern shore, where private handling turns the start of the journey into an unhurried affair. Antalya, at the far end, is the elegant capital of Turkey’s Turquoise Coast, a city where the Ottoman lanes of Kaleici descend to a Roman harbour and the marble Hadrian’s Gate still frames the entrance to the old town. Behind the beaches of Lara and Konyaalti rise the Taurus mountains, and the ancient theatre of Aspendos and the ruins of Side and Perge lie within easy reach for travellers with an eye for history. Linking two of the world’s great beach destinations, the route naturally appeals to holidaymakers moving between winter and summer coasts, to families and celebration parties travelling together, and to seasoned private flyers who prefer the privacy and rest of a single nonstop flight to the transfers and delays of a connection through a distant hub. Antalya’s marina and old harbour make the city a natural base for onward exploration of the Lycian coast, its hidden coves and ruins reachable within a short cruise, while the resorts of Belek and Kemer lie only a brief transfer from the airport.
