Private Jet Portofino to Lima

From Portofino to Lima, the crossing covers close to 5,753 nautical miles, a distance requiring an Ultra-Long Range Jet such as the Gulfstream G650ER or Bombardier Global 6000, both suited to an eleven-hour non-stop sector with cabins equipped for full rest and dining service throughout. Departures run through Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport, a short transfer from Portofino’s harbour, where private aviation handling keeps the journey from villa to runway brief. Jorge Chávez International Airport receives the flight into a Lima defined by its relationship with the Pacific, its clifftop districts of Miraflores and Barranco echoing, in their own way, the coastal drama of the Ligurian Riviera left behind. The city’s historic centre, with its Baroque cathedral and colonial mansions, holds UNESCO recognition, while a newer reputation for exceptional dining, built on ceviche and the country’s celebrated pisco, has made Lima a culinary destination in its own right rather than a mere stopover en route to Cusco. This sector particularly suits travellers moving within the world of luxury hospitality and yachting, an industry with a presence on both coastlines, as well as those simply seeking the shortest possible path between two of the world’s most photogenic waterfronts. Cruising at altitudes approaching 45,000 feet for long stretches of the flight, the aircraft rides above most weather systems encountered on the transatlantic and equatorial legs alike, delivering a smoother, more private alternative to any scheduled routing. Coastal Liguria’s busy summer months make Genoa’s efficient private terminal particularly valuable, and the long-range aircraft’s fuel reserves comfortably absorb any rerouting required over open ocean during the crossing.
