Private Jet Simpson Bay to Lubbock

Princess Juliana International Airport’s low approach over Maho Beach has made Simpson Bay one of the most photographed departure points in the Caribbean, and from there it is a journey of approximately 2,277 nautical miles to Lubbock, a city that functions as the principal gateway to the Texas Panhandle and eastern New Mexico as much as it does to the South Plains proper. Sint Maarten’s Dutch side, with its casinos, marinas and dense harbourfront development, gives way at the other end of the flight to a far more open landscape, one where Lubbock serves as the natural hub for a wide, sparsely populated stretch of the American interior. The distance is well within range for heavy and super mid-size jets, with the Challenger 350 and Gulfstream G550 both regularly specified for this sector, offering cruise speeds and altitudes, typically in the low forty-thousands, that keep flight times to around four and a half to five hours. No technical stop is required, allowing the aircraft to fly directly from Sint Maarten to Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport regardless of which type is selected, a straightforward non-stop proposition at this range. The route suits travellers whose business or leisure interests extend beyond Lubbock itself into the wider Panhandle and eastern New Mexico region, using the city as a base for onward ground travel. For guests departing a busy Caribbean hub like Simpson Bay, the appeal of a private charter lies as much in avoiding the terminal congestion on departure as in the directness of the arrival, landing close to the centre of a region commercial carriers rarely serve efficiently.
