Private Jet St. George to Little Rock

St. George, in Utah’s red rock country, sits roughly 1,043 nautical miles from Little Rock, a distance that a super-mid-size jet covers with ease. A Gulfstream G280 or Challenger 350 typically makes the crossing in a little over two hours, cruising near 45,000 feet above the canyon country of the Southwest before descending into Arkansas. Departures use St. George Regional Airport, a modern field built on a mesa above the city, offering dramatic desert views on departure that few airports elsewhere on the network can rival. Arrivals trade sandstone cliffs for the wooded banks of the Arkansas River, a considerable change in both colour and climate. Little Rock’s River Market District, its restaurants and covered produce hall housed in restored warehouses, sits close to most downtown hotels, while the Clinton Presidential Library extends dramatically over the water a short distance further east. Visitors with time to spare often continue an hour southwest to Hot Springs, itself set inside a national park. The route suits outdoor recreation and real estate executives connecting southern Utah’s rapidly growing tourism economy with business interests further east, as well as retirees splitting time between the two very different landscapes. A super-mid cabin handles the two-hour crossing comfortably, letting passengers move between two of the country’s more scenic small cities without sacrificing a full working day to the journey. Southern Utah’s booming outdoor recreation industry, anchored by nearby Zion National Park, has drawn a wave of investment from across the country in recent years, and Arkansas developers with an eye on similar growth in their own state’s tourism sector are increasingly frequent flyers on this particular pairing.
