Private Jet St Tropez to Grand Geneva Resort

Travellers chartering between St Tropez and Grand Geneva Resort are, in effect, trading one kind of retreat for another. The sector runs some 3928 nautical miles, a distance well matched to a Heavy Jet such as the Global 6000, or, depending on load and preference, the Gulfstream G650ER. Carrying a range that comfortably exceeds the sector length, leaving a healthy fuel reserve for routing flexibility on a route of this length, the type keeps the flight efficient without sacrificing comfort. The type’s short-field performance also opens up smaller regional airports that larger aircraft cannot easily use. Fuel stops are unnecessary on this sector for the aircraft types typically assigned to it, keeping the itinerary simple. Flights leave from La Mole Airport, where dedicated FBO facilities allow guests to move from kerbside to cabin in a matter of minutes. Catering and any special requests can be confirmed directly with the operator ahead of departure, tailored to the party travelling. On arrival, the resort’s grounds include two championship golf courses, The Highlands and The Brute, both laid out for a serious game amid rolling Wisconsin countryside; the town of Lake Geneva, just minutes from the resort, retains much of its nineteenth-century character along its walkable lakefront strip. For those staying longer, the resort’s indoor water park and multiple dining rooms make it a rare private-aviation destination equally suited to families and business groups. For couples planning a weekend away from the demands of a fixed itinerary, the appeal lies less in the distance covered than in the control the charter hands back over the itinerary. Whatever the purpose of the trip, arriving without the compromises of a connecting itinerary tends to be the deciding factor. Many operators serving this route also offer empty-leg opportunities, which can be worth asking about for flexible travellers.
