Private Jet The Valley to Yonkers

The Valley, on the island of Anguilla, sits approximately 1,477 nautical miles from Yonkers, a distance that suits a Super Mid-Size jet such as the Challenger 350 well, with a flight time of roughly two and a half hours at cruise altitudes near 43,000 feet. Departure is from Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport, a small but efficient field that has long been Anguilla’s gateway for the private aviation traffic drawn by the island’s understated, high-end resort scene. Heading north over the Bahamas and along the U.S. Atlantic coast, the flight descends into the New York area at Westchester County Airport, sparing passengers the congestion of the city’s principal international airports. Yonkers, on the Hudson’s eastern shore, offers a genuinely different arrival experience, with the terraced grounds of Untermyer Park and the quieter Rivertowns communities nearby standing in contrast to the barefoot luxury of Anguilla’s beaches. This route is favoured heavily by travellers with second homes or long-standing rental arrangements on the island, many of whom value the ability to fly on their own schedule rather than around the limited commercial service into Anguilla. Given the island’s reputation for privacy and discretion among its regular visitors, arriving into a low-key Westchester airport rather than a crowded New York gateway extends that same sensibility all the way through to the final leg of the journey, making this a natural fit for travellers who prioritise a seamless, unhurried transition between destinations. Given Anguilla’s limited commercial air service, many owners treat this charter link as effectively their only reliable option for a same-day journey, scheduling around tide times for their onward boat transfers on the island itself.
