Private Jet Zurich to Tempe

Zurich and Tempe sit 4,997 nautical miles apart, a distance that calls for a heavy jet operating comfortably within its range. A Gulfstream G650ER covers the crossing in around nine and a quarter hours, cruising at altitudes up to 51,000 feet with a cabin configured for up to fourteen passengers and a private aft suite for passengers who prefer to rest through the flight. Departures run from Zurich Kloten Airport, Switzerland’s principal gateway, with private aviation facilities well used to handling the country’s heavy private banking and corporate charter traffic. The G650ER’s full galley allows for a proper multi-course meal service during the nine-and-a-quarter-hour crossing, a detail particularly valued by banking delegations flying straight from meetings. Arrival at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport brings travellers to Tempe, a city anchored by Arizona State University and the waterside paths of Tempe Town Lake. Zurich’s private banking sector has long maintained an interest in Arizona’s low-tax, high-growth economy, and a number of Swiss wealth managers now cover the state’s residential and commercial property markets directly for their clients. Leisure travellers use the crossing just as readily, trading Switzerland’s long alpine winters for near-constant desert sunshine, with the golf courses of Scottsdale and the Cactus League’s spring training games both offering a seasonal draw unlike anything Zurich itself can match. A modest number of Zurich-based venture funds have also begun backing Arizona technology start-ups directly, treating this corridor as a routine part of due diligence travel rather than an occasional trip. Most charters depart Zurich in the late morning, landing in Arizona with much of the desert afternoon still ahead.
