Private Jet Brindisi to Porto Heli

At just 322 nautical miles, Brindisi to Porto Heli is a short hop across the mouth of the Adriatic, well within the range of a very light jet or a turboprop such as the Pilatus PC-12, either capable of completing the crossing in around fifty minutes. Brindisi-Salento Airport serves a historic port city in Puglia at the heel of Italy, long a crossing point between the Italian peninsula and Greece, with a compact old town and coastline that has become increasingly popular with travellers exploring the wider Salento region. On landing, guests arrive at Porto Heli’s own small airstrip or Kalamata International Airport, both serving a resort town set around a calm bay on the Argolic Gulf in the Peloponnese. Porto Heli faces the island of Spetses across a narrow channel, with the crossing taking only minutes by boat, while the fishing village of Ermioni and the elegant former capital of Nafplio lie within easy reach along the coast. Pine-covered hills and olive groves surround the bay, giving the area a quiet, low-key atmosphere that has drawn a growing number of superyachts to its sheltered waters each summer. Travellers with an interest in antiquity will find the ancient theatre of Epidaurus and the Mycenaean citadel both within about forty minutes of landing. Given how short this crossing is, the route suits those already exploring southern Italy who want to add a genuinely quiet stretch of the Greek Peloponnese to their itinerary, all without the lengthy ferry crossing that the same journey would otherwise require by sea, or the wait at a busy port terminal.
