Private Jet Beverly to Vence

Covering 3,285 nautical miles, the Beverly to Vence route sits at the outer edge of what a super mid-size jet can manage in a single sector, with the Gulfstream G280 the natural choice thanks to its transatlantic-capable range and efficient cruise economics. Beverly Regional Airport, north of Boston on Massachusetts’ historic North Shore, offers a low-traffic alternative to the region’s larger commercial fields, letting private departures move quickly from kerb to climb. The G280 typically settles near 45,000 feet for the crossing, a height that keeps the roughly six-hour flight notably smoother than lower-altitude alternatives. Landing at Nice Côte d’Azur puts travellers minutes from Vence, a fortified hill town whose Romanesque cathedral and narrow medieval streets have changed little in centuries. The chapel Matisse decorated near the end of his career remains the town’s signature draw, but the surrounding countryside, terraced with olive trees and edged by the perfume fields of Grasse, rewards a slower look too. Nice’s own old town, with its ochre facades and flower and produce market, sits a short drive below, and the coast road onward reaches Cannes and Antibes within the half hour. This shorter Atlantic crossing suits travellers who want Riviera time without sacrificing a full day to the journey, whether for a long weekend visiting Provençal hill towns or a base for the Cannes festival calendar, with the G280’s cabin sized comfortably for a handful of passengers rather than a full delegation. New England travellers making this crossing often pair it with a longer swing through Provence, using Vence as a quieter first stop before pushing on to the busier resort towns further along the coast.
