Private Jet St John to Riverside

St John, in Antigua and Barbuda, sits approximately 2,955 nautical miles from Riverside, a distance well matched to a super mid-size jet such as a Gulfstream G280 over a crossing of about five-and-three-quarter hours. Cruise altitudes near 45,000 feet keep the flight above much of the tropical weather common to the eastern Caribbean during the warmer months. Departures use VC Bird International Airport, named for the nation’s first prime minister and well set up for private aviation despite handling significant commercial traffic too. Antigua’s three hundred and sixty-five beaches, one for every day of the year according to local lore, make it a longstanding favourite for travellers heading west after a Caribbean stay. Landing at Riverside Municipal Airport places guests close to the Mission Inn and the citrus-era downtown, alongside the University of California, Riverside. The Inland Empire’s steady growth in logistics and distribution has added a business dimension to a region long defined by its agricultural roots. The G280’s baggage capacity comfortably handles the extra luggage and watersports equipment that often accompanies a longer island stay. This route suits sailing enthusiasts returning from Antigua’s renowned regatta season, second-home owners with Caribbean property interests, and families making the long transcontinental-scale journey back to Southern California, all benefiting from a direct crossing that avoids the layovers a commercial itinerary would typically involve. Many travellers on this route time their departure to coincide with the end of Antigua Sailing Week, when the island’s anchorages empty out and demand for westbound private flights typically peaks. Crews familiar with the corridor build in a small fuel buffer for that seasonal surge in traffic around the airport.
