Private Jet Simpson Bay to Gilbert

Simpson Bay, on the Dutch side of the island shared between Sint Maarten and Saint-Martin, sits roughly 2,764 nautical miles from Gilbert, a sector well matched to a super mid-size or heavy business jet. Aircraft such as the Challenger 350 or Gulfstream G280 cover the route efficiently, typically taking around four and a half hours, cruising in the low-to-mid forties across the Caribbean and Mexico toward Arizona. Departures use Princess Juliana International Airport, world famous among aviation enthusiasts for its low final approach directly over the sunbathers on Maho Beach, one of the more distinctive arrivals anywhere in the Caribbean. Arrival is into Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, a private aviation hub east of Phoenix known for efficient handling and its distance from the congestion that can affect the region’s commercial gateways. Gilbert has grown from an agricultural town into one of Arizona’s fastest-expanding suburbs over the past three decades, its neighbourhoods known for strong schools and its downtown rebuilt from converted farm buildings. The island, split between Dutch and French administration for more than three centuries without significant conflict, offers a genuinely bilingual, bicultural experience unlike almost anywhere else in the Caribbean. This sector particularly suits leisure travellers drawn to the island’s mix of casinos, beaches and French cuisine on the northern side, along with yacht owners connecting to vessels berthed in Simpson Bay Lagoon, one of the largest natural harbours in the Caribbean. The lagoon’s marinas and boatyards make Simpson Bay a significant hub for yacht services across the wider eastern Caribbean each winter season.
