Private Jet Cavallo to Cape Coral

Cavallo Helistrip, on a private island off Corsica’s southern coast, is the departure point for a substantial 4,423 nautical mile transatlantic crossing to Cape Coral, a journey of roughly eight and a half hours that firmly requires a heavy jet such as a Gulfstream G550, cruising in the low-to-mid 40,000s for the bulk of the flight. Access to Cavallo is inherently exclusive, reachable only by boat or helicopter, and most passengers boarding here are coming directly from one of the island’s private residences rather than any conventional point of departure. The crossing tracks west over the Mediterranean and the Atlantic before making landfall over the southeastern United States, descending into Page Field in Cape Coral, a Gulf Coast city whose canal network is unmatched by any other city in the world, a landscape defined by water in an entirely different way than the rocky Corsican coastline left behind. This route serves a genuinely rare kind of traveller, an owner or guest with both a private Mediterranean island retreat and a Gulf Coast Florida property, and the nearly nine-hour flight time demands an aircraft purpose-built for long intercontinental legs. Few pairings on this network combine such extreme exclusivity at both ends of a single journey. Ownership of an island retreat like Cavallo typically implies a broader portfolio of similarly exclusive properties, and a Gulf Coast Florida base fits naturally alongside a Mediterranean island as a second or third home rather than a primary one. Crews operating this pairing are generally chosen specifically for their experience with both remote island departures and long transatlantic legs, a combination not every long-range operator can offer.
