Private Jet Mesa to Rochester

Mesa and Rochester are separated by roughly 1,703 nautical miles, a sector that calls for a super-mid or heavy jet, with the Gulfstream G280 or Challenger 650 offering the range and cabin comfort suited to a flight of approximately three hours and fifteen minutes. Cruising near the low forties in thousands of feet, the aircraft operates above much of the turbulence generated over the Rockies and Great Plains, a genuine advantage for comfort on a crossing of this length. Departures use Mesa Gateway Airport, a large general aviation field in the East Valley that has grown steadily as an efficient alternative to Phoenix Sky Harbor for private travellers. On arrival, passengers reach a Rochester built on a legacy of invention and precision optics, once home to Eastman Kodak, Bausch & Lomb and Xerox, with the George Eastman Museum today standing as one of the world’s finest photography and film institutions. The Genesee River tumbles over High Falls within the heart of downtown, while Lake Ontario’s shoreline and the Finger Lakes wine trail both lie within an hour’s drive. Mesa’s fast-growing technology and semiconductor manufacturing base gives executives in advanced manufacturing a natural reason to visit Rochester’s own optics and precision engineering firms, several of which trace their roots to the same era of American industrial expansion that shaped the Southwest. Leisure travellers, meanwhile, will find Rochester’s lake-and-vineyard landscape a marked change of pace from the Sonoran Desert, particularly appealing during the Finger Lakes’ autumn harvest season, when the region’s wineries fill with visitors drawn by the turning leaves and the new vintage.
