Lombok International Airport (LOP) is located in Central Lombok Regency, about 6 km from Praya and 27 km from Mataram, the capital of West Nusa Tenggara. Its position in the south of the island puts it around 20 km from Kuta and the Mandalika resort area. The airport has a single asphalt runway, 13/31, measuring 3,300 metres (10,826 feet), and sits at an elevation of 318 feet (97 metres) at coordinates 8.7581° S, 116.2764° E.
The runway was extended from 2,750 metres to 3,300 metres in 2022 as part of the expansion carried out ahead of the first MotoGP race at the Mandalika International Street Circuit, and the waiting lounges were enlarged again in 2024. As a result, the airport can now accept every category of business jet, including long-range aircraft. Race weekends bring a sharp peak in traffic, so parking and slots should be arranged early. Outside those dates it is a relaxed gateway for the south coast, the villas of Sekotong, Senggigi and the Gili islands. The Jet Collection arranges the aircraft and handling at Lombok, and books the car or boat transfer onward.
