Private Jet Abacos to Worcester

The Abacos to Worcester route spans roughly 999 nautical miles, comfortably suited to a light jet or turboprop such as the Citation CJ3+ or Pilatus PC-12, both capable of the crossing in around two hours while handling the more modest runway at Leonard M. Thompson International Airport with ease. The turboprop’s shorter field performance makes it a particularly practical choice for this pairing, especially when island weather or runway conditions call for extra margin. Worcester Regional Airport offers an efficient, uncongested arrival in central Massachusetts, a short drive from Boston for anyone continuing on. The Abaco Islands, known for their pastel-painted settlements and world-class sailing waters, have drawn a loyal following of New England boating families for generations, many of whom maintain seasonal homes on the islands and travel back and forth with real regularity. This route sees steady seasonal demand tied closely to the sailing calendar, with New England-based owners and charter guests moving between the two regions throughout the winter and into the spring regatta season. Given how limited scheduled service into the Abacos remains, particularly after the disruption of recent hurricane seasons, private charter has become an increasingly essential link for residents and regular visitors alike, offering a level of reliability that scheduled carriers serving this part of the Bahamas have struggled to consistently match. Many families also value the flexibility to adjust departure times around weather, a genuine consideration when island conditions can change quickly during the Atlantic hurricane season. It remains one of the more dependable ways to reach the out-islands on short notice.
