Private Jet Accra to Porto Heli

Accra sits approximately 2,303 nautical miles from Porto Heli, a sector well suited to a mid-size or super mid-size jet such as the Bombardier Challenger 350 or Gulfstream G280. Both types can complete the crossing nonstop, cruising at altitudes around 45,000 feet for a flight lasting somewhere in the region of four and a half hours depending on prevailing winds over North Africa and the Mediterranean. The cabin on either aircraft is comfortable enough for a sector of this length to be worked through productively, with a proper galley, a private lavatory and seating configurations that allow for rest as well as meetings en route. Departure is from Kotoka International Airport in Accra, Ghana’s principal gateway and a well-established base for private aviation departures along the West African coast. On arrival into Greece, aircraft generally use the small airport serving Porto Heli directly, though Kalamata International Airport further along the coast remains available where a larger aircraft or particular conditions call for it. Porto Heli itself is built around its marina on the Argolic Gulf, a resort town that draws an international crowd through the summer months, with the car-free island of Hydra reachable by boat for those seeking a quieter counterpoint to the coastal bustle. The ancient theatre at Epidaurus, renowned for its acoustics and still in use for performances each summer, lies a manageable drive inland. This route works well for travellers combining business interests in Ghana with a stay on the Greek coast, offering a direct private sector of under five hours in place of the considerably longer and less convenient commercial routing that a journey between these two cities would otherwise require.
