Private Jet Amalfi to Anaheim

The Amalfi Coast to Anaheim route covers around 5,622 nautical miles, a distance that firmly places it in ultra-long-range territory and calls for an aircraft such as the Gulfstream G650ER or Global 6000, both capable of the transatlantic and transcontinental range needed to connect southern Italy with Southern California without an intermediate stop. Departures are typically arranged from Naples International Airport or the smaller Salerno Costa d’Amalfi Airport, giving travellers flexibility depending on where along the coast their stay begins, whether Positano, Ravello or Sorrento. A cruising altitude in the mid-40,000-foot range keeps the aircraft clear of weather over the Atlantic and allows for a smoother ride than the lower-flying commercial traffic below. On landing at John Wayne Airport, guests find themselves close to Anaheim’s Convention Center and the Angel Stadium and Honda Center sporting precincts, as well as the beaches of Newport and Huntington a short drive away. Flight time is scheduled around ten hours and forty-five minutes, making an overnight departure the sensible option so the cabin’s lie-flat configuration can be used to arrive rested rather than depleted. This pairing suits travellers moving between the Amalfi Coast’s world of villas, coastal dining and summer society and the very different rhythm of Orange County’s theme parks, conference centres and corporate campuses. For families it removes the exhaustion of connecting through a European or East Coast hub with young children in tow, while for business travellers it turns what would otherwise be a two-day journey into a single overnight sector, landing with time enough to start the working day on arrival in California.
