Private Jet Basseterre to Porto Heli

Basseterre and Porto Heli lie approximately 4,588 nautical miles apart, a sector that calls for a heavy business jet capable of crossing the Atlantic and the length of the Mediterranean without a stop. The Gulfstream G550 and Bombardier Global 6000 both suit this route, cruising at altitudes around 45,000 feet for a flight generally taking around eight hours. Both aircraft offer cabins built for genuine rest on longer sectors, with private berthing areas and pressurisation systems that keep the equivalent cabin altitude considerably lower than a standard commercial aircraft manages. Departure is from Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport, St Kitts’s principal gateway and a regular point of origin for private flights leaving the northern Caribbean. Arrival into Greece is generally direct into the small airport serving Porto Heli, with Kalamata International Airport available further along the coast should the aircraft’s size or conditions require it. Porto Heli’s calm, sheltered waters on the Argolic Gulf have long made it a dependable base for yachts through the summer season, and the short hydrofoil crossing to Spetses, with its pine forests and absence of private cars, remains one of the more distinctive local excursions. The Bronze Age ruins at Mycenae sit within a manageable drive inland for those wanting a day away from the water. This sector suits travellers with ties to St Kitts planning time on the Greek coast, offering a direct eight-hour private option in place of the considerably longer and less convenient commercial alternative. St Kitts and its neighbouring island of Nevis are best known for their volcanic peaks and colonial-era sugar plantations, a landscape that gives way within moments of take-off to open Atlantic water on the long routing towards Europe.
