Private Jet Capri to Plano

The Capri to Plano route measures roughly 4,971 nautical miles overall, though the journey begins in an unusual way: Capri Heliport, perched above the Marina Grande, has no runway of its own, so passengers typically transfer by helicopter, an Airbus H130 being a common choice, to Naples International Airport before joining an ultra-long-range jet such as a Gulfstream G650ER for the transatlantic sector proper, cruising in the mid-40,000s. Capri itself needs little introduction: the Blue Grotto, the Faraglioni sea stacks and the boutiques of Capri town have drawn wealthy and fashionable visitors since Roman emperors first built villas on its cliffs, and the island remains one of the most photographed destinations in the Mediterranean. From Naples, the jet climbs out over the Tyrrhenian Sea before tracking across Spain and out over the Atlantic towards North America, eventually making landfall along the Gulf Coast and continuing to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, with Plano a short distance beyond. This two-stage journey suits travellers who have spent a stay aboard a yacht anchored off the island or in one of its clifftop hotels, for whom the seamless combination of a short helicopter hop and a long-range jet removes any need to first reach the mainland by ferry, preserving the sense of privacy that made the island appealing in the first place right through to departure. Confirming both the helicopter and the onward jet as a single coordinated itinerary, rather than two separate bookings, is the most reliable way to keep this route running smoothly end to end.
