Private Jet Castries to Lombok

The flight from Castries, the capital of Saint Lucia in the Caribbean, to Lombok, an island in Indonesia’s Nusa Tenggara chain, covers about 12,020 miles and takes around 20 hours. That distance exceeds the range of the longest business jets, so the journey will need a fuel stop rather than a non-stop flight. Executive airliners, which are larger aircraft, are the category suited to this long trip. Travellers heading to Castries come for the island’s beaches, rainforest hiking and the volcanic Pitons, while visitors to Lombok are drawn by the volcano Mount Rinjani, the beaches of the south coast and the car-free Gili Islands off the northwest coast. Lombok lies east of Bali across the Lombok Strait, so the two ends of this route offer very different landscapes, one Caribbean and tropical, the other Indonesian and volcanic.
