Private Jet Cavallo to Worcester

Few routes in this network cover as much open ocean as the one linking Île de Cavallo, the private island retreat off Corsica’s southern coast, with Worcester, Massachusetts, a genuinely transatlantic sector of some 3,485 nautical miles. A journey of this length calls for a heavy business jet with serious range and cabin comfort, and a Gulfstream G550 or comparable aircraft is the natural choice, cruising at altitudes up to 45,000 feet where it can ride above the weather systems that typically track across the North Atlantic. The nearly seven-hour crossing gives passengers ample time to rest properly in a flat-bed cabin, arriving refreshed rather than depleted after the long haul. Departing from the Cavallo Helistrip, guests leave behind one of the Mediterranean’s most exclusive enclaves, a granite islet favoured by European and international elite for its seclusion and turquoise anchorages, largely inaccessible except by air or yacht. They arrive into Worcester Regional Airport, serving a New England city built on nineteenth-century manufacturing and now reshaped around healthcare, biotechnology and higher education, with UMass Chan Medical School and a cluster of respected colleges giving the downtown a steady academic pulse. Boston lies under an hour further east for onward business, while the quieter countryside of central Massachusetts, with its orchards and historic villages, offers an easy contrast to Cavallo’s rocky Mediterranean shoreline. This pairing suits owners and guests of the island’s private residences making the crossing to New England for business, family, or simply a change of scenery, for whom a dedicated heavy jet is the only realistic way to bridge two such different worlds in a single sitting.
