Private Jet Charlottetown to Menorca

The crossing from Charlottetown to Menorca runs close to 2,890 nautical miles, a distance that calls for a super mid-size aircraft like the Gulfstream G280, capable of making the Atlantic in one leg with cabin altitude and range to spare, typically landing after around five and a half hours aloft. Prince Edward Island Airport, serving Canada’s smallest province, handles far less private traffic than the mainland’s major fields, which generally translates into a smoother, more personal departure process for passengers heading east. PEI’s red sandstone cliffs and gently rolling farmland stand in real contrast to Menorca’s flatter, sun-bleached terrain. On arrival, the island’s Talayotic sites, among them the well-preserved settlement at Torre d’en Galmés, offer a layer of prehistory with no real equivalent back home, while the coastal path known as the Camí de Cavalls threads past more than a hundred beaches and coves over its full 185-kilometre length. Ciutadella’s old town, compact and built for shade, retains a cathedral raised over a former mosque and a fish market that still opens each evening beside the working harbour. For Atlantic Canadians accustomed to long journeys simply to reach continental Europe, this route offers a direct alternative to connecting through a major hub, trimming both time and the inconvenience of a layover. Arriving into Menorca’s private terminal, passengers step almost immediately into island time, with the calm of a quieter Balearic destination waiting just beyond the apron. The island rewards a slower pace, and most passengers arriving on this route plan for at least a week to make the long crossing genuinely worthwhile.
