Private Jet Dubai to Greenwich

The Dubai to Greenwich sector covers approximately 5,927 nautical miles, an eleven-and-a-quarter-hour nonstop crossing typically flown by a Gulfstream G650ER or Global 7500, both suited to cruising at altitudes up to 51,000 feet for stretches of the journey to make the most of favourable winds. Al Maktoum International Airport, Dubai’s dedicated hub for much of its private aviation traffic, offers efficient handling for a clientele well used to travelling at the very top end of the market, sparing passengers any of the congestion associated with the emirate’s much larger commercial gateway nearby. From Dubai the aircraft tracks a long westward course spanning a considerable portion of the globe before reaching the northeastern United States. Westchester County Airport delivers arriving passengers close to Greenwich, Connecticut, whose concentration of finance professionals has grown increasingly connected to Dubai’s role as a global hub for trade, real estate and increasingly technology and finance in its own right. This route serves a broad mix of executives, investors and family offices whose interests span the emirate’s fast-moving commercial landscape and American capital markets, a relationship reinforced by the steady flow of capital and talent between the two. Given the eleven-hour-plus duration, most operators configure these flights with full sleeping arrangements and dedicated catering, and passengers on this well-travelled corridor tend to have firm preferences about aircraft type, having made the comparison across several long-haul options over the years. It is a corridor that has, over the past decade, become almost routine for a certain class of traveller, even as the distance and duration involved remain, by any objective measure, considerable.
