Private Jet Eleuthera to Menorca

Eleuthera, a long, narrow island in the central Bahamas, sits approximately 4,041 nautical miles from Menorca, a transatlantic sector of roughly seven and three-quarter hours connecting the two islands across the Atlantic. Flights depart North Eleuthera Airport, serving a destination known for its pink-sand beaches and its role as a quieter alternative to Nassau’s more developed tourist areas. Given the distance, a heavy business jet such as the Gulfstream G550 or Bombardier Global 6000 is the standard choice, offering non-stop Atlantic range, a cruising altitude near 45,000 feet, and a cabin spacious enough for private sleeping quarters and full catering service across the crossing. Arrival at Menorca Airport delivers passengers close to Ciutadella’s historic quarter, where limestone buildings and narrow shaded streets offer welcome relief from the summer sun. Eleuthera’s famous pink sand, coloured by crushed coral and shell, has a curious echo in Menorca’s own varied beaches, from the red sand at Cala Pregonda to the pale coves further south. Both islands have resisted the large-scale resort development seen elsewhere in their respective regions, retaining a distinctly low-key character. This pairing suits clients dividing time between Eleuthera and southern Europe, offering a direct, private, non-stop link across the Atlantic that removes the connections a comparable commercial routing would require, on a schedule set entirely around the traveller’s own plans. Eleuthera’s limited runway infrastructure means most heavy jets operate comfortably within performance limits here, and crews familiar with the field typically report straightforward operations even during the busier winter charter season. A short taxi at North Eleuthera is typical even in season, keeping the overall transfer from beach to cabin refreshingly brief.
