Private Jet Exumas to Tacoma

Exumas to Tacoma runs roughly 2,633 nautical miles, a distance comfortably handled by a mid-size jet such as a Challenger 350 or Gulfstream G280, both offering the range and cabin comfort suited to a crossing of around five hours. Exuma International Airport provides efficient handling for private aviation, a genuine convenience for travellers leaving the Exumas’ famously clear, shallow waters behind for a longer transcontinental flight. At journey’s end, Tacoma offers a complete change of scenery: a working Puget Sound port city beneath Mount Rainier, its downtown built around the restored Union Station rotunda and the nearby Museum of Glass, whose hot shop demonstrations remain a highlight for visitors. Point Defiance Park’s old-growth forest and shoreline drive provide a cooler, greener contrast to the low-lying cays left behind. Cruising at altitudes up to 45,000 feet keeps this crossing above most weather affecting the Bahamas and the continental United States, and outside hurricane season the route tends to run close to its scheduled block time in both directions. This pairing suits Bahamas-based second-home owners and business travellers with interests in the Pacific Northwest, as well as leisure travellers seeking to follow an Exumas stay with the very different mountain and glass-art character that defines a visit to Tacoma. The Exumas’ famous swimming pigs and clear shallow waters continue to draw a steady stream of visitors each winter, and a direct charter avoids the connections that limited scheduled service to this part of the Bahamas would otherwise involve. A private departure also suits boating parties travelling with gear a scheduled cabin could not easily accommodate.
